Core Duties (OSHA 1994, Section 28)
- Advise employer on safety & health matters
- Inspect workplace to identify hazards
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and dangerous occurrences
- Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC)
- Organize safety training and awareness programs
- Maintain safety documentation and records
- Liaise with DOSH during inspections
- Chair/attend Safety & Health Committee meetings
- Prepare emergency response plans
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures

- Morning site walkabout / inspection

Qualifications Required
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH-recognized)
- Registered with DOSH as competent SHO
- NIOSH certification (preferred)
- Annual CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
- First Aid & CPR certified
