Annual Leave – Section 60E

Annual leave is calculated on a pro-rata basis for incomplete years of service. Employees must be employed for at least 12 months to be entitled to the full allocation.

Sick Leave – Section 60F

Employees must be certified by a registered medical practitioner or medical officer. Sick leave taken without valid MC may be treated as unauthorized absence.

Hospitalization Leave – Section 60F

Employees requiring hospitalization are entitled to 60 days of paid hospitalization leave per calendar year. This is inclusive of the sick leave entitlement (not in addition to it).

Maternity Leave – Section 37

Female employees are entitled to 98 consecutive days of paid maternity leave for each confinement. Key conditions:
